The role the intensive outpatient program is built around: a licensed clinician who also teaches, so processing and movement come from the same person.
The work
The IOP was designed for this seat. Trauma-informed movement and psycho-education in the same room, taught by somebody who can hold both, because handing a group between two people loses exactly what the format exists to do.
It is one of the new clinic's named openings and one of the hardest to fill, which is why it is worth saying plainly: this is a clinical role that happens to involve a mat.
