Privacy Policy

Effective July 5, 2026 · The Trinity Integrative Holistic Medicine & Counseling Services LLC

Your privacy matters deeply to us — it is part of how we care for you. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.

The short version

  • We collect only what you choose to give us, plus anonymous usage statistics that help us improve the site.
  • Screening results are stored only with your explicit consent, and you can complete surveys as an anonymous guest.
  • We never sell your information, and we never send identifiable health information to advertising networks.
  • Your therapy records do not live on this website — they are kept in SimplePractice, our HIPAA-compliant electronic health record.
  • You can ask us to show you or delete what we hold about you at any time.

Information you choose to give us

  • Account details — if you create a free account, we store your email address and, if you add them, your name, profile photo, and optional birthday, birth place, and birth time (used only for the astrological features on your own profile).
  • Self-assessment results — stored only when you check the consent box. You may also consent (separately) to being contacted about your result. Without consent, your result is shown to you and not kept.
  • Survey and form responses — the research surveys and staff forms store the answers you submit. If you are signed in, your in-progress answers are saved so you can finish later; guests submit anonymously.
  • Reviews — anonymous by design; we store only the text, display name, and rating you type.
  • Contact requests — whatever you include when you ask us to reach out.

Information collected automatically

To understand how the site is used and where it can be better, we record anonymous usage events: pages visited, time spent on pages (including whether the visit was active or idle), which questions of a survey people stop at, clicks on resources and buttons, whether background audio was muted, and whether light or dark mode was used. These events are tied to a random per-visit identifier — not to your name or email — and are stored in our own database, not with an advertising company. We use your browser's local storage to remember things like your theme choice, saved progress, and whether you've seen the welcome message.

How we use information

  • To run the member portal, save your progress, and show you your own results and history.
  • To respond when you ask to be contacted.
  • To understand community needs through aggregate research statistics (never your individual identity).
  • To operate memberships and, when configured, payments through Stripe (Stripe processes card details on its own systems — we never see your card number).
  • To send emails you request, such as sign-in links. Any future newsletters or announcements will include a clear way to opt out at the bottom of every email.

Where your information lives

Website data is stored with Supabase (our secured database provider) with row-level security, meaning your private records are readable only by your own signed-in account and the practice administrator. Uploaded profile photos are stored in our media storage. Appointments, clinical notes, and therapy records live separately in SimplePractice, our HIPAA-compliant practice management system, and are governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive as a client.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
  • We do not send identifiable health information to ad networks or social media pixels.
  • We do not show anyone else your results — your "My Overview" page compares your numbers only to published national statistics.

Affiliate links

Some resource-library links are affiliate links, which means the practice may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. These are always labeled with a disclosure.

Your choices and rights

  • You can use the assessments and surveys as an anonymous guest.
  • You can decline consent to store a screening result and still see it.
  • You can edit your profile details (or ask us to) at any time.
  • You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing thetrinityintegrative@gmail.com.
  • Every marketing or announcement email we may send will contain an opt-out link.

Children

This website is intended for adults. The self-assessments are written for people 18 and older; parents and guardians seeking support for a child or teen should contact us directly.

If you are in crisis

This website is not monitored in real time and is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

Changes and contact

When our practices change — for example, as we add member messaging or email newsletters — we will update this page and its effective date. Questions are always welcome at thetrinityintegrative@gmail.com.
