The work
The practice already takes referrals from courts, attorneys, probation, diversion programs, schools, licensing boards and child welfare. That work needs someone who is comfortable with the paperwork, the deadlines and the witness stand.
It is a distinct discipline and it is treated as one here, not as an overflow caseload for whoever has a gap.
