Accessibility Statement
Effective August 29, 2026 · The Trinity Integrative Holistic Medicine & Counseling Services LLC
This practice serves many neurodivergent clients, and accessibility here is a core feature of the site, not a compliance checkbox. We want every visitor to be able to read, navigate, book, and take part, whatever their vision, hearing, motor, or cognitive needs.
What is built in
The accessibility menu opens from the button in the lower-left corner of every page (and from inside the help popup). Every preference is remembered on your device:
- Text size: normal, large, or larger.
- Dyslexia-friendly reading: roomier spacing, taller lines, and a highly legible face.
- High contrast for low-vision reading.
- Color vision modes for protanopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia. Every mode also enables our cue system, which swaps green/red signals for blue/orange and underlines status colors, so no meaning on this site is ever carried by color alone.
- Read this page aloud: the page's own content, top to bottom, with pause and resume.
- Hover to read: whatever the pointer rests on is spoken, using labels and image descriptions, so the page can be explored by ear.
- Reduce motion: stops animations and movement across the whole site.
- Always-underlined links and a large keyboard focus outline.
Beyond the menu: background audio never plays without your explicit choice and never autoplays; every image carries a text description; the site works at the browser's own zoom and text-size settings; and forms identify their fields to assistive technology.
Our conformance goal
We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and verify against them as the site changes. Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state, and we treat reports from real visitors as more valuable than any automated check.
Known limitations
- Booking and secure clinical messaging run inside SimplePractice, a third-party system whose interface we do not control. If it presents a barrier, contact us and we will book you directly.
- Read-aloud features use your browser's built-in speech and are unavailable in the rare browsers that do not provide it.
- Some older downloadable documents may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers; ask us and we will provide the content another way.
Found a barrier? Tell us
If anything on this site is hard to use with your assistive technology or your way of reading, we want to know. Use the Help button on any page, email thetrinityintegrative@gmail.com, or use the "Missing a feature?" link inside the accessibility menu. Tell us the page and what got in the way; we treat access barriers as bugs and fix them with the same urgency.
